2011 Senior Model Search
So this might seem a little early- but we’re starting our search for our 2011 spokesmodels! We’re doing this so early because we have to do most of our sessions in the summer since we’re both out of town during the school year.
We’re looking for models anywhere in the Kansas City area- so Kearney people, if you’ve got some friends from other schools that you think would be great for this, send them our way! We’d like two people from each school.
We’re looking for someone outgoing, fun, and willing to get our name out there. If you love fashion- even better!
Our senior spokesmodels will all get a free session early in the summer, and a discounted session later on in the year. They will also get some free goodies and the opportunity to make some money!
If you’re interested send us an email with “2011 Model Search” somewhere in the subject. Please include why you think you’d be great at this and a recent picture of yourself.

Taylor Sneak Peek | Kansas City Senior Portrait Photographer
Here’s a quick one from my session with Taylor this afternoon!

Camille | Kansas City Senior Portrait Photographer
I took Camille’s pictures a while ago… but I’ve been a little behind on my editing so I’m just getting around to blogging it now. Sorry Camille!
Well, without further ado I give you Camille.

Raven (Fall is Finally Here!) | Springfield Portrait Photographer
The leaves finally changed down here. Unfortunately I don’t have any sessions booked this week, so my friend Raven volunteered to be my awesome model for the day. Well, I might have made her come down and sit in a patch of grass next to the road… but either way she was a good sport! I looove these colors and I can’t wait to take some more pictures with these trees this weekend!

Lauren | Kansas City Senior Portrait Photographer
I’ve known Lauren for quite a while- and I was really excited when she asked me to take her senior pictures because she has got such a great look! I think I might have borrowed some of her clothes in the 6th grade and never returned them… Haha sorry Lauren!
Well, Lauren definitely looks different from back when we were friends- putting makeup on her sleeping parents at slumber parties (ha!) but she was so easy to photograph and I had SUCH a hard time choosing favorites!! I’m already looking forward to the other sessions I’ve still got with Lauren- so be on the lookout for some snowy pictures of her come winter!
Until then- here is her preview. Enjoy

Here’s just a quick one of Lauren from yesterday! Keep an eye out for her full post early next week.

Fall Deals!
So, if you were considering having us take your senior pictures this fall, next weekend would be about the perfect time. I know that’s soon- but whoa is it getting cold fast!!
I will be in town from the 15th to the 18th and I have time for probably around five sessions. Whitney will also be available, but I’m not for sure how many she’ll be able to fit in. I’ll update this if I find out.
Because this is such a perfect weekend to take pictures, I’d like to give you guys a deal to make it a little sweeter! I’m going to be offering a 15% discount to anyone who books a session for next weekend (This even includes people who want to book the double session- one fall, one spring). Also, I’ll be handing out some pretty yummy print discounts to those people who book sessions. I’m not gonna post em- but they’ll be nice I promise!
If you bring a friend to get their pictures taken at the same time, I’ll offer you guys an additional %10 off of both of your sessions!
So basically- this is a good deal and I recommend you take it because I probably won’t be offering a discount like this again until the spring.
Okay, here’s a wrap up for the discounts:
Basic Session: $105 (Normally $125)
Full Session: $170 (Normally $200)
Two Season Session: $320 (Normally $375)
And If you bring a friend… the discounts are even sweeter!
Basic: $90 per person
Full: $150 per person
Two Seasons: $280 per person
And since I can never post without a picture… here’s one of Whitney from our last session:

Courtney | Kansas City Senior Portrait Photographer
I was editing these pictures today during a torrential rainstorm in Springfield. It has been raining well over 24 hours now and I’m going a little crazy! I put on some nice summer music and pretended I was at Courtney’s session again, because we had the most beautiful weather to work with.
So here goes the rest of Courtney’s senior pictures! She has such a great smile- I hope we did it justice!
Btw- these are from both me and Whitney. They’re all mixed in together.

Whitney and I headed back to Kansas City this past weekend for a session with Courtney. These are just a couple of the many great ones I got. Courtney was such an easy subject to photograph so we got quite a few pictures! I took a peek at Whitney’s images too and well, we have got some great ones to share soon. Hope you like these frames until then!
-Brooke
First Blog Post from Brooke’s Significant Other.
So, I just found out about this great thing called the internet. And I just figured out how to use it! Only joking, though this would probably be a better explanation as to why I’ve never posted on Brooke and I’s photo blog. Well, no time like the present. Or something. Here are my photos from my summer trip to Tokyo, Japan. Most of these were taken at the Ueno Zoo, Mt. Fuji or the beach in Kamakura. These aren’t even close to all of them, but I’d hate to make you scroll though the hundreds I took. Forgive the haphazard nature of their organization, I’m new to this.
